BROWPLASTY
Browplasty, commonly known as a forehead or brow lift, is a surgical technique used to raise or "lift" a sagging brow. A sagging brow can restrict eyesight and make a person appear older, thus this surgery can be performed for either aesthetic or practical reasons. There are several types of Browplasty operations, which are classified based on the surgical method employed. These are some examples: Endoscopic forehead lift, Significant brow lift, Coronal forehead lift, Pretrichial brow lift, Mid-forehead lift, Endotine brow lift are some of the procedures available.
Different surgical procedures may be used during a Browplasty surgery, but the essential idea stays the same: the surgeon creates incisions in the patient's skin to gain access to the entire tissues, muscles, or fat pads.
Excess skin and underlying tissue can be removed or tightened before the left standing skin is smoothed out to reduce the appearance of fine, depending on the patient's particular circumstances. This outpatient operation is usually done with a local anesthetic. Patients should expect swelling for at least two days following the surgery, however, this can be alleviated with ice packs. Full healing, on the other hand, should take 10-14 days.
